We would hope that situations where people are unable to communicate with the emergency services due to being unresponsive or unable to recall information are rare.  To enable the emergency service team to provide the best possible care they need to know medical and / or social history.  Medical jewellery can be life saving because it can provide the medical team with critical information even if the person requiring help is unable to.
